2000-2001 AQHA Horse of the Year, Firewater Fiesta. Rising Star Award, Firewater Fiesta Qualified for the National Finals Rodeo, finishing the year 4th in the World.
1999-2000 Speedhorse Silver and Gold Cup Derby Champion riding Firewater Fiesta. Ft. Smith Super Derby Champion riding Firewater Fiesta.

1986 Began training barrel horses professionally.
1985-1986 Competed on Pro Tour Rodeo Teams for Dodge, Copenhagen Skoal and Billy Bobs of Texas. Suffered a serious head injury.
1984 Successfully qualified and competed at the National Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma City, OK. My family, Dick, JD and myself, set a record for being the only father, son and daughter to ever compete at the National Finals rodeo in the same year. My Father and JD competed in the Team Roping.
1983 I competed at the Command Performance Rodeo with President Regan and his cabinet
1981 Graduated from Sam Houston State University with Bachelor of science and a minor in Journalism.
1979-1981 Transferred to Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, TX. NIRA Regional Champion All-Around Cowgirl NIRA Regional Team Champion Competing successfully on a professional level.
1977-1978 Attended University of Southern Colorado, Pueblo, CO, on a Rodeo Scholarship. Successfully qualifying and competing at the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Finals in Breakaway Roping, Goat Tying, Team Roping and Barrel Racing.

1976 Graduated from Pueblo High School with the following honors: High School All-American Silver Cord Graduate Winter Sports Queen Runner up for Miss High School Rodeo Queen.
1973-1976 High school gymnast, cheerleader, newspaper writer and Editor of our high school year book.
1973 Colorado State High School Champion Barrel Racer. National High School Rodeo Res. Champion Barrel Racer Ogden, UT. Competed successfully in Breakaway Roping, Team Roping, Goat Tying, Barrel Racing and Pole Bending. Qualifying for the National High School Rodeo Finals 4 consecutive years.
1972 Joined the Women's Pro Rodeo Association

1968 Began 4-H w/ horses and continued to compete in horse oriented events.
1966 My first American Quarter Horse show-1st place riding Skips Imp. Competed in Horsemanship, Barrel Race, Pole Bending, gymkhana events and jackpots.
